How Do You Do a Face Cream Review?
If you’re like me, you get skeptical when you read a face cream review. They are all so glowing and claim that this or that skin cream will work wonders on your skin. It’s easy to believe the promises skincare companies make if you don’t know better. What do I mean? Well, there’s no oversight in the cosmetics industry, so false advertising is widespread and unchecked.Instead of trying to figure out if a review is genuine or not, I recommend doing your own face cream reviews. It’s all a matter of knowing what to look for; once you know that you’ll be able to expertly judge a skincare product in minutes.
Focus on three simple things. Ask yourself these three questions:
1. Do the ingredients come from nature?
All the ingredients on the label should be natural, active, and highly concentrated. Here are a few you would like to see: vitamin E, avocado oil, manuka honey, and coenzyme Q10.
Skin cells better absorb natural ingredients. This deep level of absorption allows them to help your skin produce new collagen and elastin on its own. Natural substances also block free radicals from damaging cells; this damage is one of the roots of skin aging.
To have success with skin creams, you need ingredients that kind of pinch your skin cells and tell them, “hey, wake up and start functioning like you did when I was younger”. This is what natural ingredients do for you.
2. Are any of the ingredients chemicals?
Cosmetic companies widely use chemicals in their skin creams, because they are cheap. If you research different brands of face cream, you will run across them. Here are a few to look for on the label: mineral oil, fragrances, alcohols, and parabens.
Why are they used? Besides being cheap, some of them technically work. For example, mineral oil is used for moisturizing. Yes, it locks moisture into skin, but only by coating your skin and clogging pores. That’s unacceptable. Clogged pores prevent toxin elimination, which often leads to an acne outbreak. Shopping HelpsApr 3If you’re looking for an organic night anti-aging cream review, you can find it or anything else on the internet. But, if you want an organic night cream reviewed, honestly, that might be a little more difficult to find. If you want to be sure that the ingredients are actually safe, that’s even harder to determine.
Organics in skincare products are not regulated by government agencies. In order to be considered organics, foods must meet certain requirements. Government regulating agencies determine that the farmers did not use pesticides, herbicides or other unnatural compounds when the plants were grown.
So, if you read an organic night anti-aging cream review, you really have no way to determine whether or not the farmer that grew the raw ingredients followed those practices or not. Manufacturers are allowed to use the term, without any proof. You will not find an cream reviewed for safety by any government agency, anywhere, it is up to the consumer to determine if the manufacturer is trustworthy or not.
Naturally occurring ingredients are not always safe. It is commonplace to see an cream reviewed and find that one of the ingredients is a fragrance, aroma, scent or perfume. Typically, when manufacturers are trying to convince consumers that their products are safe and natural, they will say that the aroma is a “blend of 100% pure essential oils”.
These scents interfere with our sleep, whether we realize it or not. We become sensitized to them and start to have reactions that we don’t understand. Certainly a “pure” essential oil could not cause the problem. But, actually, essential oils are common skin irritants and the fragrances commonly cause allergic reactions.
If you want to be completely safe, you want to know about all of the ingredients and the manufacturing processes used. That’s information that you will not read in an anti-aging cream review. Some processing is necessary if the compound is to be effective. A “purist” might not like to read that statement, but if you see an organic night cream reviewed and it contains honey, the honey has been dehydrated and then added to another oil or emulsion.
Instead of looking for another organic night anti-aging cream review, you might want to take a little time to learn about the most effective and safest ingredients.
Shopping HelpsThe Truth About Reviews on Wrinkle Cream
Filed under CosmeticsFeb 28There are many reasons why creams and lotions made for face wrinkles fail to do the job. One of the reasons that people end up unhappy with the performance of a product is that they began using the cream because they believed what they read in reviews on wrinkle cream.
The fact that the majority of the creams and lotions for face wrinkles are going to disappoint you is because they simply do not have the kind of quality ingredients necessary to meet the required needs of aging skin. There are three very specific areas that need to be focused on if a cream is to be successful.
I’ve seen a lot of reviews on wrinkle cream and I have something to tell you about them; they are actually run by a cosmetics company. That is why you will typically see them give favorable reviews only to the products that are made by a certain company. They are that company.
You will also notice that these companies only focus on one or two ingredients in their creams and lotions for face wrinkles. That is because they don’t want you to know about all of the chemicals that go into their products, because people are now beginning to figure out that many of these chemicals are dangerous.
They can go on all they want about the pure, natural ingredients that they use in their reviews on wrinkle cream, but the first time that they mention the lovely fragrance that their product has look out. All fragrances in cosmetics are chemically engineered; there is nothing natural about them.
Any product that you use for face wrinkles should contain only natural ingredients, and no chemical additives. Your ingredients should include plenty of antioxidants to ensure that the damage that has been done over the years by free radicals will be completely healed. That is one area of focus.
Reviews on wrinkle cream never tell you that they are looking to improve oxidation, raise levels of hyaluronic acid, and reverse the loss of collagen and elastin do they? That is because they do not have a product that can fix more than the oxidation part, or possibly the hyaluronic acid level in your skin.
What they do not have is the ability to naturally stimulate the increased rate of production of collagen and elastin, that is because there is only one company in the world that possesses ingredients in their creams and lotions for face wrinkles that can perform that task.
Their creams for face wrinkles are paving the way to naturally younger looking skin, and they are forcing their competitors to follow along behind them still looking for a way to have their own successful anti aging cream.
